You effortlessly build a communications system by choosing from the library of Modules and Features. Select just the features you require, all of them or just the specific Modules and Features you need. Softerm® Modular's Graphical User Interface, Procognitive™, dynamically builds itself to display only your chosen features.

The Softerm® Modular Session Manager maintains your communications database of Session and Object configurations. It serves as a manager for your communications activities. The Session Manager Phone Book contains all of your configured Sessions. Sessions can be set to start automatically or simply point-and-click for your connection.

Over 60 exact terminal emulations are included in Softerm® Modular and each is Telnet-aware and Winsock compliant. All functions are present. Every keystroke, every video presentation, every printer function of the terminal being emulated is reproduced exactly. With Softerm® Modular as the connection, your PC is transformed into the terminal of your choice. Every aspect of functionality is retained. Our attention to detail results in one single fact - if the original terminal works, Softerm® Modular works. We guarantee it.

Softerm® Modular includes the most comprehensive connectivity library available. The Connection Path Library contains over 30 OEM network gateways and interfaces, TCP/IP socket support, asynchronous communications servers, and serial drivers for all popular manufacturers. An unprecedented added value is Softerm® TCP/IP.

With Softerm® TCP/IP, you can communicate with and share resources and data from your Local Area Network, remote computer systems, the Internet and the world. Softerm® TCP/IP is a full featured 100% VxD TCP/IP with Winsock DLL that includes all advanced features, such as PPP, SLIP and CSLIP, Network Drivers NDIS and ODI, NFS Client, LPR/LPD, FTP, Ping, and much more. Softerm® TCP/IP will also support all of your other third-party applications that are Winsock compliant.

With Softerm® Modular, you can see, hear, and watch Multi-Media files. The Graphical File Viewer lets you display up to 41 different graphical file formats. Softerm® Modular lets you play WAV sound files, watch AVI movie files, view faxes, or perform any Multi-Media presentation you have installed in the Windows Control Panel.

Softerm® Modular delivers a wealth of Internet Applications and Utilities including, the Softerm® Web Browser, eMail Application, News Group Application with uuencode/uudecode, Graphical FTP File Manager, and more! Numerous Internet Access Providers are preconfigured and ready for you to connect.

All popular File Transfer Protocols are included: Xmodem, Ymodem, Zmodem, Kermit, Compuserve, IND$FILE, FTP and more. File transfer automatically unzips PKZIP files, and will display graphical files as they are downloaded. Drag and Drop for fast and easy file transfer.
